Single Ecklonia in Clear Water

Meadows of kelp and seaweeds in clear and calm water … that’s a dream that becomes true sometimes. I would prefer to add ‘warm water’ to it as well, however, we all know that’s not how it works. Warm water means no kelp, no undersea jungle.

This picture is from Matheson Bay on an exceptionally good day. Every time I look at it, I cannot believe water could be so clear there.
