Let Us Dive Elsewhere
When I tell people I do scuba diving and underwater photography, they usually ask if I have dived Poor Knights, the famous marine reserve of the coast of Tutukaka.
I haven’t. Not that I think the diving there is not good. I believe it is great. Just I haven’t found strong enough reason to go there yet. I usually don’t know how to explain that lack of enthusiasm. Then I watched this video about our marine scientists. Around 1:25 in the video they explain there are enough people that love whales and dolphins. And they love fish.
There should be at least somebody who loves those that are not so much lovable. It is the same with Poor Knights and me. A lot of people dive and admire Poor Knights. However, there are a lot of places that are neither dived nor admired. I want to be the one who dives and admires them.
