Today is the seventh day of the full lockdown in New Zealand due to Covid-19 (the corona virus). The weather is beautiful, but we have to sit at home. Only now I realize what a privilege it is to be able to go where we want. We usually think it is normal, or rather we don’t think about it at all. Now, when the privilege was taken from us we realize what amount of freedom we had. I hope I’ll be able to keep that thought long after it will all have ended: To be able to go anywhere I want is not a right, it is a privilege. I want to be ready to sacrifice that privilege for the good of others.
In the meantime enjoy a video about what seems to be a great adventure.
