Mahurangi Harbour Bottom Dwellers
Another fine day, though quite cold. The water surface in the harbour was like a mirror, completely flat. Underwater there was some noticeable outgoing current which was an advantage as it was clearing water when I accidentally stirred the silt up.
I focused on bottom dwelling slowly-/non- moving creatures. There were plenty of spotties and parore as well but too shy to get photographed.
Sponges were everywhere, mostly yellow and encrusting ones, also a lot of sea cucumbers. Enjoy the gallery and join us next time 🙂
