I do not hunt underwater, however, Jackson Shields from Wettie has kindly pointed out if I wear a ‘Hunter’ wetsuit and ‘hunt’ for pictures I am an underwater hunter 🙂
The last Tuesday photo hunt was great the visibility at high tide was around 5 m which is great for the spot.
It seems it’s the season for gem nudibranches right now they can be seen almost everywhere in about 4 m of depth.
I also found a couple of big fanworms they seem to be the Mediterranean Sabella spallanzanii i.e. they are pests in NZ waters, it’s a pity, they are so beautiful.
Enjoy a couple of pictures of the great 75 min dive.
